CONSULTATIONS

Consultations are vital, and allow us to get to know one another so you can decide if I am the right fit for you.

They allow us time to discuss your medical history and if you are suitable for any treatments.

Consultations give you time to talk to me about your goals, but also any worries or concerns that you may have regarding treatment.

Consultations have a booking fee of £20, this is reedemable against any treatment or product that you book.

CHEMICAL PEELS

Superficial chemical peels deeply exfoliate and help remove the top layer of your skin, stimulate collagen production and reveal the healthy glowing skin underneath. Superficial chemical peels help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, sun damage and acne scars. This is a subtle treatment and may require a course of 4-6 treatments.

Please do not think of the “10 years younger” programme where the person has a bright red sore face after – these are deep peels which are performed by plastic surgeons! Superficial chemical peels are not this intense, you may feel a mild tingling sensation during treatment.

MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling involves multiple tiny needles entering the skin rapidly at a controlled depth to cause the body’s natural healing process to engage – meaning your body produces more collagen and elastin! This helps with fine lines and wrinkles, scaring, large pores and pigmentation. This may cause a little discomfort but should not be painful. This is a subtle treatment and may require a course of 4-6 treatments.

DERMAL FILLERS

As we age, unfortunately our skin feels it too. It gradually loses its collagen, elastin and fat. It also loses its ability to reproduce collagen, elastin and peptides as quickly as it used to and its reserves start to become depleted. This contributes to the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, lost volume and skin dullness. Dermal fillers help replace this lost volume and structure, helping you restore that lost volume and plump out those lines. Dermal fillers can also help structure your face, think of lip enhancement!

Profhilo – As you read above, as we age the amount of collagen, fat, elastin and peptides in the skin reduces, and continues to reduces and replenish at a much slower rate. Profhilo injects a large amount of hyaluronic acid, and helps stimulate the reproduction of the forementioned goodies. It’s classed as a bio-remodeller, which means it helps lift sagging tissue! Profhilo can be used to treat the face, neck, décolletage, hands, arms and even knees!

Restylane Skin Boosters – Restylane Skin Boosters build your skins hydration levels from the inside, which helps improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and skin elasticity. Restylane Skin Boosters can be used on targeted areas on the face such as around the eyes, but also on the neck, hands and decolletage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your qualifications?

I qualified as a nurse in 2012, I completed my prescribing qualification at level 7 in 2019. I now am I university lecturer in nursing.
In 2020 I completed my foundation anti wrinkle and dermal fillers week long course, which included a complication.
Over the past few years I have completed numerous courses to keep my skills up to date.

Which products do you use?

I only purchase products from a registered pharmacy, that have been thoroughly tested to consistently prove that they are safe to use.

Is it safe?

All products used are purchases from a registered pharmacy, and are proven to be safe - you won't see my following the latest trend or product until it has proven (through clinical trials) that it is safe to use.

All treatments do carry an element of risk, the level of risk depending on the treatment itself. All of which will be discussed in your initial consultation.
I am trained in complications, and am a member of Aesthetic Complications Experts (ACE)

Are treatments painful?

Not as painful as you are imagining! Depending on the treatment, some cause more discomfort than others. I usually hear from my first timers "Is that it?! I'd have come much sooner if I had known that!"

I use numbing cream if required, I have a gentle touch, use cannulas when appropriate - all to reduce your discomfort.
The needles are much smaller than you are picturing!

Will I look fake after treatment?

I will never allow someone to look "fake or done." Natural looking is the way forward! I'm not about making you look 21 again (unless you actually are 21 you lucky thing) I'm about making you look "good for your age"
I'm known to say no to clients and even put one on a filler ban! Please remember when you see celebrities that look like that, they have spare thousands of pounds to spend on treatment - 1ml will not make you look fake!
